English Rose is seeking an On-Call Caregiver to join our team in the Flex Staffing position. This position offers flexibility in scheduling but requires a willingness to be available on short notice.
Our staff to resident ratio is 1: 3 (1:6 during the overnight shift) in our suites and 1:1 in Home Care, so you can focus on providing exceptional care and build those relationships with your residents and clients. It's the very reason you decided to become a caregiver, isn't it?

Wage: $25.00

Shifts: will be based on your availability and may be available on short notice.

You'll never work a shift being short staffed, or with agency caregivers that don't even know your residents.
Required Qualifications

2+ year of hands-on caregiving experience with elderly (ADLs, med passing, etc.)
Passion for assisting and caring for elderly residents.
18+ yrs old and able to pass the MDH background check & tuberculosis screening
Lift a minimum of 50 pounds and be on your feet for 7-8 hours
Passion for leading engaging activities with residents to ensure their holistic well-being
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Professional and positive attitude
Valid Drivers License (preferred)
Dementia Care experience a plus (but not required as we will train)

Primary Responsibilities of our Resident Assistants / Caregivers:

Maintain compassionate and authentic relationships with Residents & Clients
Provide direct care to Residents & Clients with dementia and complex medical conditions, assisting them with bathing, grooming, dressing and toileting
Support Residents & Clients by providing housekeeping and laundry services, preparing and serving meals and distributing medication
